Birth-3 Services

Connect • Support • Thrive

Your child’s well-being is your top priority. At Aspire, we understand the importance of early intervention and are here to support both you and your child every step of the way with expert care and personalized support.

Our Approach

We believe that every child learns best through play, and our therapy sessions reflect that. Our child-led, play-based approach engages young children in activities they love while targeting important developmental goals.

Aspire offers a wide range of services for children in the 0-3 age group, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, feeding therapy, and multidisciplinary assessments.

Our services are designed with the whole family in mind, giving parents tools and support to help their children succeed. Here’s what sets us apart:

  • Child-Led, Play-Based Therapy: Sessions feel like play to your child but are thoughtfully designed to help them meet important developmental milestones.

  • Parent Education and Involvement: We believe the best approach to working with young children is by partnering with parents. We provide guidance and education, empowering you to support your child's progress at home.

  • Family-Centered Care: We value and respect your insight as a parent. You know your child best, and we work together to achieve goals that matter most to your family.

  • Siblings Welcome: We encourage siblings to be part of the process, allowing for natural interactions that can benefit your child’s development.

  • Peer Interaction: Your child will have opportunities for therapist-supported peer interaction, allowing them to practice social skills in a safe and structured environment.

Experience and Expertise in Working with Birth-to-3 Children

Our team has extensive experience working with young children, and we specialize in addressing a variety of developmental needs:

  • Speech Delays: We see children who are late talkers, non-speaking by 18 months, or struggling with speech sounds like "p", "b", or "m".

  • Motor Delays: We support children with delayed gross and fine motor skills, challenges with imitation, and difficulty following directions.

  • Self-Care Challenges: If your child is having difficulty with potty training, dressing, bathing, or other self-care tasks, we can help.

  • Feeding Difficulties: We address challenges like transitioning to table foods, drinking from a bottle or cup, and chewing.

  • Sensory and Movement Needs: For children seeking excessive movement, making unsafe choices, or having trouble with body awareness, we provide targeted interventions.

  • Physical Therapy Needs: We work with children who have conditions like plagiocephaly, torticollis, or lack of head control (older than 4 months).

  • Sleep and Constipation Issues: If your child is struggling with sleep or constipation, we can support you with strategies to address these challenges.

Not Sure if Your Child Needs Services?

We offer free screenings and consultations to help determine if your child could benefit from therapy. You don’t need a formal diagnosis or a referral from a pediatrician to get started—if you have concerns, we’re here to help.

What Makes Aspire Different from Traditional Birth-to-3 Programs?

While traditional Birth-3 programs often provide coaching and monthly visits, Aspire offers weekly, hands-on therapy with licensed professionals who specialize in the specific area of need. Our approach allows us to build stronger relationships and provide more frequent, consistent support.

Hands-On Therapy: We work directly with your child every week, using a strengths-based approach that is focused on your child’s individual needs and abilities.

Specialized Expertise: Your child will always be seen by a clinician with the relevant training and expertise, such as a speech-language pathologist for speech therapy.

Collaboration and Consistency: Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to provide comprehensive care. You’ll benefit from having multiple specialists involved in your child’s care, allowing for a more holistic approach.

Positive, Supportive Environment: Unlike some programs where parents may feel judged, we emphasize building a strong rapport and creating a supportive environment for both you and your child. We’re here to help, not to judge.

A Unique Approach to Early Childhood Development

Aspire offers a wide range of therapeutic services, all under one roof, giving your child access to novel therapy tools, equipment, and activities that enhance their progress. We provide:

Continuity of Care: Your child doesn’t “age out” of our program. We offer ongoing support, so as they grow, they can continue to receive care from the same familiar team.

Virtual Services: If in-person visits aren’t possible, we offer virtual therapy sessions to ensure that your child doesn’t miss out on the care they need.

Novel Environments and Activities: By coming to our clinic, your child will be exposed to new toys, gym equipment, and other activities that are different from what they experience at home. This variety encourages engagement and growth in new ways.

Community Collaboration: We work closely with other care providers and community resources to ensure that your child’s care is well-rounded and supported from all angles.

A Message to Parents: We’re Here to Support You

Parenting a young child with developmental concerns can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Our team offers comprehensive education, practical resources, and emotional support, empowering you to help your child thrive at home and beyond. With a reputation for honesty and integrity, we’re committed to recommending only what’s best for your family, while also connecting you with community resources to build a strong support network.

My son and I have been treated excellently. They explained everything to me and made sure we had an understanding of what was going on.
